Jennifer is a freelance television and film producer based in NYC, and creator and executive producer of interview-show-over-food, Table for Two, hosted by Maya Contreras.
Earning both a BA in Communications and a Certificate in Film from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2009, Jen moved permanently to NYC after graduation. Her background lies heavily in the food television industry, working on shows such as The Food Network’s Chopped, Sweet Genius, and Guy vs. Rachael, Bravo’s Rocco’s Dinner Party, and IFC’s Dinner With The Band. Most recently, Jen produced and managed 35 documentaries for the sixth and seventh annual live 24-hour broadcast, “24 Hours of Reality” hosted by former US Vice President Al Gore. Jen has also produced internal corporate branding pieces for AB InBev, BGC Partners, Cantor Fitzgerald, EatingWell, Google, MORE, Sealed Air, Shape, and Rachael Ray Every Day. She also has credits as Coordinator/Associate Producer and Assistant Editor for programs that have aired on networks such as A&E, Biography, BBC America, Travel Channel and HBO. Jen has had the privilege to interview over 100 influential celebrities, political and professional sport figures including, Robert De Niro, former US President Bill Clinton, Eli and Peyton Manning, and Bryant Gumbel.
Her hobbies include running in Central Park, playing violin, horseback riding and interviewing musical artists. Jen is also in the Brooklyn-based girl group, the Marshmallows, and folk band Padre. Despite her busy schedule, she still finds time to keep a cultural ear to the ground to uncover new hidden gems and holes-in-the-wall that make New York City so special.
